A picnic with a difference

Gumnut Valley Alpacas hosts unique and exclusive picnic experiences with our friendly, inquisitive alpacas.

Watch alpacas graze peacefully on a bale of hay conveniently placed beside a gorgeous picnic setting consisting of a large rug with an abundance of large cushions scattered around a rustic hand-made picnic table.  Indulge in a locally made, generous grazing board filled with carefully selected sweet and savoury delights. Relax and breathe in the fresh country air, whilst hand feeding the alpacas their favourite grain mix. Enjoy complimentary bottled of water or BYO beverages.

Picnics are weather permitting and run for 90 minutes. To ensure it is a pleasurable experience for our animals also, we cater for groups up to 10 people. Please contact us for your preferred time and date, so we may arrange a custom booking for you.

Special event picnics are available on occasions like Mothers’ Day, Easter Sunday and National Alpaca Week. These picnics are offered at a lower price with the possibility of another one to two picnics held in the same paddock at the same time. Event prices are $180 / 3-4p and $240 /5-6p
