Introduction To Alpacas Workshop

This workshop is designed for potential alpaca buyers and covers everything from the history of alpacas to paddock set up, handling, catching, haltering and moving alpacas, feeding requirements and general healthcare.

Husbandry Workshop

This workshop is tailored to new alpaca owners and provides information about halter training, body scoring, worm management, vaccines and supplements, shearing, mating, birthing, weeds, toxins and wound care with demonstrations of toenail clipping, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, oral drenching and matings / spit offs.

Workshops are alternated and run Saturday mornings between 8.30am and 11.30am at a cost of $99 per person. Group size min 4 – max 8 people. Morning tea is provided. Bookings are essential.
